Good Games Local Tournament D:
Ok, so i went to goodgames in the city and played in the tournament, Knowing i would get wrecked I entered anyway.
During registration they made a COSSY card for me. What a COSSY card does is it keeps track of the players games; including win / loss ratios and which tournaments you particpate in.
+ You get a Card so ya. That’s cool i suppose. Anyway, looking around the store there were at least 2x as much people as last time I went so i was like..Feck this, im gonna get rolled infront of a crowd >.>.
But then i entered anyway, and yeah i was right, got rolled sick. I got to play 4 people and of the 4 people i only managed to win 1 person. >.>.
1st Game.
I was playing what looked like a 12 year old kid. I underestimated him coz he was actually pretty good lol. He won the first match pretty quickly because i was getting a bunch of dead draws.
2nd match i won by keeping some 2k defenders up lol. Then 3rd match he won some how, i forget but yeah.
2nd Game
VS ZOMBIES
Ok, so i played this guy in the first match, we were pretty even, taking hits everyturn but he won in the end.
The second match we played was awesome, I managed to get REDMD, Blue-eyes and some other high level dragons on the field which he responded with Torrential Tribute after i summoned a Wyvern >.>
I knew i was fucked because after this, he removed my REDMD from play. Thats like pulling the core out of my deck. i was pretty screwed. Then i drew mask of Darkness and recovered my Torrential Tribute i used earlier. I don’t think he remembered I picked it up again because i set it and ended my turn. At this point I was in a defense curl, couldn’t do anything but defend and he just kept summoning more monster. I waited until he had a few more and then hit him with Torrential. The game lasted for ages, and he was on 300 LP left and i was in 4k+. But neither of us had any good monsters left. This came down to both of us defending. Then it ended by me being unable to draw cards which resulted in a loss. FUCK ME.
3rd Game
VS SOME KID WITH WHAT LOOKED LIKE A 60 CARD DECK.
The Game started off pretty funny, i set a monster and ended. He then Sarco’d obelisk. I lol’d at this. Because i knew he’d have no chance to summon it. He then summoned some dodgy monster and attacked my face down and rolled himself. The game progressed a bit further with him continually rolling himself. The i summoned Prime Material Dragon which pretty much won the game for me.
The Second Game we had was a loltastic one. I morphing jar‘d him. Then got a new hand. Summoned REDMD and got Blue eyes from graveyard. Should have seen his face he was like O_O. I attacked his face downs, he responded with Spellbinding Circle on my REDMD. I ended my battle phase to go to main phase 2 and countered his Spellbinding with my Trap Eater. It was his turn and he just set a monster. At this point i knew it was over for him. I Then proceeded to summon a wyvern and synchro’d for a Stardust. I then cleared his field. He set a monster again, i guess he ran out of moves. Feeling like a tightass i wanted to overkill him so i tributed REDMD and Blues eyes for Creator and special summoned REDMD, using REDMD’s ability i SS’d Blue-eyes and it was game.
4th Game.
VS GADGETS
i got rolled sick. End of story. lol

Ok so after the tournament I sat around waiting for the results and stuff so i can get my Participation prize =P. The good news is, I didn’t come last. I recieved my Turbo Pack and i pulled a super Black Whirlwind. =S
Pretty sad so i bought a Twilight edition box. (My box of 10 hasn’t come yet) opened that and got a..Ultimate Doom Shaman, Yeah i was pretty depressed at this point.
Anyway, went out to eat afterwards and walked around the city with Kei and Vanessa. Thats about it.
